Frequently asked Questions:

Q: How do you choose your staff?
A: We conduct a full criminal background check on every employee and confirm at least 3 positive reference checks to ensure they have the honesty and integrity we require. We only employ Carers we would allow to assist our own family members.

Q: Are your staff Qualified?
A: All of our staff are at least qualified to the level of Certificate III in community services, have a current first aid and CPR certificate. All staff also join us for an initial induction and then we provide regular training sessions to upskill and refresh the skills of our team.

Q: How are you different from other services?
A: We consider our service the ‘rolls royce’ in home based aged care. Please click on our Why Choose Us to see the differences.

Q: Can I have the same carer every time?
A: We put together a team of Carers to assist you, depending on the number of hours you require. We do not recommend just one as when that person is sick or unavailable for personal reasons we wish to ensure we can send another person you know.

Q: When are your services available?
A: We are available for hourly, overnight and 24-hour care, 7 days per week. We offer flexible or permanently scheduled visits, depending on your needs and that of your family.

Q: How quickly can services be provided?
A: Services can be provided within 24 hours, however the more notice you can provide, the more time we have to ensure the Carers are the most suitable for you and your needs.

Q: What if I need to change the times and days you come?
A: You can cancel or change services with 24 hours notice.

Q: Do I have to tell each carer what to do for me?
A: No! One of our Registered Nurses writes a Care Plan for you, informing all Carers what is required to meet your needs. If there are more complex needs, each Carer will be trained by the Nurse in your home.

Q: What if I don’t like one of the Carers you send?
A: We endeavour to match the Carer with your needs, wants and personality traits. If for some reason you are not happy we will change the Carer immediately. The choice is entirely yours!

Q: What services do you provide?
A: Our Services include Personal Care, Respite Care, 24 Hour and overnight care, Companionship and Light Housekeeping. Please click on our Services for more information.

Q: Can you offer services in a nursing home or retirement village?
A: We can assist you wherever you live, however some facilities may have rules that prevent us from providing care to their residents.

Q: What is the cost of your services?
A: The cost depends on the number of hours we provide to you and on what days they occur. Some of our clients use our services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We offer a Free Assessment where we can discuss your needs and at that stage we can decide whether it is better to pay an hourly rate or negotiate a suitable “package of Care” with you and your family.

Q: Why should I use you instead of employing my own Carers?
A: All of our Carers are extensively screened and we handle all insurance and payroll matters. Our Registered Nurses write a personal Care Plan and trains the staff to ensure we look after your needs. We are reliable and will always be there for you and
‘...we are your family when they can’t be there...’
